It was still a bit chilly here today, but not too bad.  I still wore shorts and if I was in the sun, I was fine.  In the shade, though, it was a wee bit cold. 

I'm all ready - packed and ready to go!  I'm not taking my computer with me so I won't be on here to blog until at least Sunday!

Sunday

Sermon was very good today and afterward Pastor Jack announced his replacement for when he retires in about 3 years.  Glad for Jack and glad for us - Richard will be a good senior pastor.  After church we went to Europa for breakfast. 

We played bingo tonight in place of Tuesday night.  I was waiting several times, but didn't win.  Darn it anyway!

Wow!!

What a day!  Dave worked on Bob & Ann's roof and I went to run errands.  I went to Verizon, Walmart, and then to Optical Outlet to get my glasses adjusted.  Then Dave and I went back to Verizon to trade in our phones.  We are now proud owners of Google Pixel 2s! 

Came home and got the ISU game!  Fun, fun, fun.  We have now beaten the #3 team and the #4 team, and for at least the next week, we're #1 in the Big 12!    Wow! 

Now we're watching the World Series...I really thought the Dodgers would win this Series, but now I'm doubting my pick!  Houston looks pretty good.

Friday

We went with Bob & Ann to the Legion today.  It was gorgeous there and we saw a whole bunch of  dolphins!  Not a cloud in the sky, but not hot either - just a perfect day!

I wish I could say this for the Dodgers.  I wish they would have played like this against the Cubs!

Thursday

I had a dentist appointment this morning at 8:40...ugh!  Got my teeth cleaned and exam.  Unfortunately I've got a tooth that has a large metal filling that is breaking down...kah-ching!  New crown coming Nov. 16th or so.  Now they can do crowns in one sitting though, so that's not quite as bad!

Breakfast at Peter's followed the dentist...man, was it good!!  We then came home, got the cameras and went to the Largo Nature Park, where we weren't disappointed!  We each took about 125 pix so I've got to go thru them tomorrow.

Tonight we've been waiting for Bob & Ann to get here.  They got in about 9:00, came over here for supper.  (We had Italian Chicken in the Crockpot.)  It was very good!!  Then we helped them unload the car, so now we're in for the night!

Tuesday

Well, today we walked all around Walmart looking for magnetic hooks to put on the side of the refrigerator to hold my potholders!  I told Dave I wanted to go with him so I could so some walking, but I really didn't want to walk as much as I did.  I finally had 4 people looking for them before we found them!  Then this afternoon, Dave and I rode two laps around the park on our bikes.  Today wasn't so hot and humid, so we were able to ride! 

I went to bingo tonight where we had some big winners.  Unfortunately I wasn't one of them.  I won $2.35!!!!  Whoopie!  That means in actuality, I lost $6.15 because I spent $8.50 to play!!  Maybe I'll get rich next week!

Monday

We had a very wet day here.  It rained off and on and this evening, it poured!  I even drove up to cards!

We cancelled our cable and our phone today and we upped our internet to 100 mbs.  So far, though, we're not at 100 mbs..  Hope it gets there!
