Nice rain!

We've been really, really dry here and today it rained most of the night and morning.  It was really raining hard when we had lunch on the lanai.  It was a great day for a nap, but I didn't take one - Dave did, however!  He needed one because this afternoon and evening we spent with his cousins and their spouses.  We had ourselves a cookout and then sat around and gabbed.  It was a fun time!

Nancy & Charlie plus Mark & Diane rent condos on the Gulf of Mexico in Madeira Beach.  They have wonderful views!

 Dave, Mark (middle) and Nancy (2nd from the right) are all first cousins.  It's been a winter of family!!

Windy day!

This was another beautiful day.  It was really windy, though.  Dave and I started our day at the clubhouse for coffee and donuts.  We came home after riding our bikes around the park.  Dave was going to do some of the things he has on his to-do list, but instead he said, "Let's go enjoy the sun and the water.  It may be the last warm day for a while."  So we went down to John's Pass to take some pictures and enjoy the gulf.  It was a little rough today, but it was beautiful!

The red "thing" in the middle of the picture is fish skin.  As the guy filets the fish, he throws the bad parts to the pelicans.  It's a hoot watching them!!

Our day was really made when we saw somewhere around 8-10 dolphins.  They were really putting on a show for us.  We watched them for a good 30 minutes before we had to leave.

God was also putting on a show.  Beautiful breakers in the Gulf.

Tonight I played 7s from Hell with 7 other ladies.  My partner and I got absolutely clobbered!  It was worse than Monday night, if you can believe that!!

Monday in Ft Lauderdale

This was a beautiful, beautiful day and we had lots of fun in it!  Dave took Jami to work this morning so her car could get worked on.  She was only going to work until 1:00 so we went back to Boca after spending some time on the beach looking at the beautiful sights!  Gorgeous day for the beach!  These are pictures we took at Deerfield Beach.

We also picked up the girls from school, got my eyebrows done, got my glasses adjusted, and ate at Five Guys!  Oh, we also took the girls for ice cream!!  Great day!!
