Wednesday

Dave  took the car to get the oil changed this morning.  He was told it would take about 45 minutes.  He didn't get done until 3 1/2 hours later!!  At one point, I called him to see when he thought he'd be home.  He told me about half an hour...One and a half hours later, he pulled in!  That was an ordeal!

We delivered newsletters to 1st and 2nd streets.  It was hot doing that, so we waited until evening for the rest of our walk.  It was so nice this evening, that we walked the whole park!

I've been editing photos.  In March alone, we took over 1250 pictures...I'm down to about 950 to edit.

Tuesday

 Today we went to visit some childhood friends of Dave and his family.  We got to see two of the sisters, Narda and Pam, and Pam's husband.  Both sisters live in a beautiful mobile home park in Ellenton.  Narda's home is just gorgeous and overlooks a lake complete with birds and alligators.  We didn't leave there until after 3:30 - it was a very pleasant day!  I felt like I'd known them a long time and I just met them today.

When we got home, we went over to visit with Bob for a while and then we took our walk around the park.  It was much cooler at 6:45 than it had been all day.

Sunday

 We had a gorgeous day here...a little humid, but a nice breeze!  After "attending" two churches, we got ready for the day.  We waited until afternoon to walk.  Our walk today was at Taylor Park.  I got really hot walking around the lake - there's not much shade at that time of day.  We saw a couple of alligators and some baby moorhens!! After our walk, we just sat in the car with the air conditioning going full blast for a few minutes.  

The rest of the afternoon was spent with Dave's cousins at the condo they rent in Madeira Beach.  There was a crowd  at the beach today!!  Everyone was safely spaced out - each group was about 6-10 feet apart.  It looked really cool from 9 floors up!  On the way home, we saw two dolphins.  So it was a great day!!

Saturday

 It was sure hot here today - it got to 90!!!  Dave, Bob and John worked some more on the windows at John & Gayle's home.  Ann and I joined them for lunch - pizza!  Yum!!  We waited until it was cooler this evening before we walked.

Friday

 Since I had to have blood drawn this morning early, Dave and I walked right after I ate my breakfast.  It was still cool out which was nice.  Found out one of our residents passed last night - he was a really nice man.  His wife will move back to Ohio - they will be missed.

Dave worked with John and Bob today which left me to my own devices.  I had a lazy day...I read for a long time today!!  This evening I went over to visit with Bob for a while.  Other than that, nothing!

Thursday

 For our adventure today, we packed a lunch, our sunscreen, our chairs, and our cameras.  We went to Pass-a-Grille!!  Another one of my favorite places.  The water was just gorgeous today!!  Very aqua!!

I haven't uploaded the pictures from the cameras yet.  These are just from my phone!!  Isn't the water gorgeous?!!

After our walk all the way down the beach and back, we ditched the cameras and just sat back and enjoyed the awesome waves!!

Wednesday

 We walked at Largo Nature Park this morning, then came home to get ready to go to lunch.  We met 7 others from the park at Cheddars for lunch.  All of us at the table had been vaccinated so it was good to get out.  Cheddars always have good food.  

Next stop for us was to go to Paradise Park where they were holding a first-ever farmers market.  A bunch of us from the park went.  They had a gal singing and a guy playing the guitar as her accompaniment.  They were pretty good.  After this we went to Sam's to pick up our order...then to Walmart to pick up that order.

It was a busy day!!
