This guy was beautiful! His body is so silky - almost looks like down. His neck was pretty much gold and his eyes are BRIGHT green! He wouldn't let me get too close though - he'd go into the water. When he went into the water, he'd go clear under and then just poke his head up. That's how he swam - with just about 4 inches of his head above water and the rest of him below the water.
This is a Muscovie duck - we have them in Iowa too, only ours are mostly white. Here they are mostly black.
Some kind of an Ibex, I think. Fun to watch!!
