Here's a pictorial of the progress of our kitchen. Dave's done so much work! I'm sure glad he likes doing stuff like this. This is day 2 where he removed the doors and the top cabinets. Isn't the wall paper just beautiful?
Day 4, he patched walls and let it dry for 24 hours.
The guys also put down extra flooring so the cabinets would be level!
Today Dave painted the walls. Yay! No more gross wallpaper!!
BRING ON THE CABINETS. I'M TIRED OF THIS CONSTRUCTION STUFF!!!
Church was fantastic this morning. The music was inspiring and so was the sermon. Pastor Jack preached on Hebrews 12:1. He's going to do part 2 next Sunday.
We ate leftovers on the lanai after Dave painted the walls. Then tonight we went to Post Corner with Bob, Ann, Gary, Barb, Keith & Barb, Keith's daughter and her husband, Sue & Doug from O-town, and friends of theirs from Tennessee, and Keith's cousin and her daughter. Whew! We didn't get our pizza (Dave & I) until way after everyone else got theirs, so ours was free! Clearwater Beach was jumping. Lots of traffic. Post Corner had a line waiting to get in for supper. Very busy!
On a different note, my dad was born 109 years ago today. I miss him!
More later...
