Another Perfect Day

I love this card - it is done with H2O shimmer colors. Pretty cool technique. It's shiny in real life - I know you can't see that on the screen, so you'll just have to believe me! I'm sending this to my friend for her birthday - I sure hope she likes it! Today was one of those beautiful Iowa days! The corn should grow tonight - it was warm and humid all day, but not overly oppressive! I had a PEO reciprocity meeting at our house this morning and this afternoon, one of the ladies from our church came over to have me teach her how to knit. She was a quick study - I think she'll do fine! After I have my surgery and can work with both hands again, I'll teach her more - today's lesson was casting on and the knit stitch. She'll really enjoy knitting if she just relaxes! Not easy for a newbie! Dave's at a Habitat for Humanity meeting and should be getting home soon. More later....
