Happy Turkey-Day!

This was our turkey day and we had a wonderful day. We are thankful for our wonderful family and that we are most of us able to be together for the holidays. We miss Rhonda and her family, though. Allison kept saying she couldn't wait for Christmas because then Cheyenne would be here! Again we had so much food that we could have feed the entire homeless population of Wapello County!

After dinner Kyle and Kaylee played a game with Allison - it was so cute having these two college kids playing a game with an 8 year old...and guess who won? The 8-year-old!! They're all wonderful kids! When the Missouri-Kansas football game came on, we were all glued to the set. If Missouri could win, then Iowa State would be assured a bowl game. Kansas led most of the game, but Mizzou came through in the end! So now we're going bowling!! We are thinking it might be a bowl game in Shrevesport. My family is talking about going! Wow, that would be fun! We won't know for sure until next weekend, so will keep you posted!

Another thing we are definitely thankful for is the beautiful weather we had today. We actually sat outside for quite a while today - it was that warm!
