Saturday is supposed to be aa fun day and today was a good one. We started out by going to the Wild Carrot for breakfast and to see Kaylee. Kaylee will be leaving on Oct 4th for the Netherlands, so we wanted to be sure to see her another couple of times before she goes...plus Dave is getting sore and tired of painting, so he wanted a break. Breakfast was delicious, by the way. and I had enough pancakes left over that we can have breakfast tomorrow. Speaking of the Netherlands, Clayton is already there. His practice starts on Tuesday. He's excited about this team. He's had this coach before and this is a much better team than the one he was on last year.
This afternoon, Dave painted doors and shelves, but decided not to touch the wall unit. Maybe he'll feel better tomorrow after church! I watched the Cubs win and now we're watching the Cyclones win. It's a fun Saturday!! I really liked the way the Clones played today...defense looked good and the offense sputtered a bit, but got going finally!
